Science, planting and beautiful weather.

Week 5 Term 4

This week there has been a range of science experiments happening. We are impressed with the predictions and explanations we have heard.

A group of children chose to help plant some strawberry and tomato plants. They discussed the important part worms play in the process.

We made the most of the beautiful weather and did our writing outside this week. One day we listened to the birds and discussed what they would see if they were looking down at us. The next time we wondered what a worm would see (if worms could see) and lay down ourselves to have a look. There was some lovely descriptive writing.

We were proud of the way the class handled the lockdown drill and the great questions they thought of about how to deal with emergencies.

We filled the warm fluffy jar so as a treat, after writing about ice cream, we all had a delicious ice cream.
